Welcome to LifeBetic.com (“LifeBetic,” “we,” “us,” or “our“), operated by LifeBetic Global SARL, a company registered in Morocco (ICE: 003868220000094), with operations in Morocco, France, and the United Kingdom.

These Terms of Service (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of:

  • our website LifeBetic.com and any related subdomains;
  • our physical products (diabetes management tools, accessories, and related merchandise);
  • our digital products (ebooks, printables, logbooks, and other downloadable content);
  • our mobile applications available on Google Play and the Apple App Store;
  • our browser extension available on the Google Chrome Web Store;
  • our AI-powered features and services embedded in any of the above (collectively, the “AI Services“); and
  • any other product, feature, or service we offer that links to these Terms (collectively, the “Services“).

By creating an account, placing an order, downloading an app or extension, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase products or create an account. If you are using the Services on behalf of a minor (for example, purchasing a diabetes logbook for a child), you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian and are responsible for their use of the product.

3. Not Medical Advice

LifeBetic is not a medical provider. Our products, content, apps, and AI Services are designed for general educational, organizational, and lifestyle-support purposes related to diabetes type 1 and type 2 management. Nothing on the Services constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please see our full Medical & Health Disclaimer for details. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diabetes management, diet, medication, or insulin regimen.

4. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or misuse the Services.

5. Physical Products

  • Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith but may vary slightly from the actual item.
  • Prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout and are subject to change without notice, though confirmed orders will honor the price at the time of purchase.
  • Availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.
  • Physical products are shipped in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
  • Our physical products are not medical devices unless explicitly labeled and certified as such, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent diabetes or any disease.

6. Digital Products (Ebooks, Printables, Logbooks)

  • Digital products are licensed, not sold. Upon purchase, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the digital product for personal, non-commercial use.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, or create derivative works from our digital products without prior written consent.
  • Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales of digital products are final once the file has been delivered or downloaded, except as required by applicable consumer protection law (see our Refund & Returns Policy).

7. Mobile Apps and Browser Extension

  • Our apps (Google Play, Apple App Store) and Chrome Extension are licensed to you subject to these Terms and, where applicable, the End User License Agreement (“EULA“) and the platform provider’s own terms (Google Play Terms, Apple Media Services Terms, Chrome Web Store terms).
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the apps or extension at any time.
  • You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our apps or extension, except where permitted by law.
  • Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps and have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for them.

8. AI-Powered Services

Certain features (e.g., AI-generated meal suggestions, logging assistants, chat-based support, personalized content) are powered by artificial intelligence.

  • AI-generated output is provided “as is” and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. AI output is never a substitute for professional medical advice.
  • We may use anonymized or aggregated interaction data to improve our AI Services, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Do not input sensitive personal health information into AI features beyond what is necessary for the intended function of the tool.
  • You are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated recommendation before relying on it, especially anything related to insulin dosage, medication, or diet.

9. Google Merchant Center & Advertising

Product data submitted through Google Merchant Center (pricing, availability, descriptions) is kept as accurate and current as reasonably possible. If you believe a listing is inaccurate, please contact us at contact@lifebetic.com.

10. Orders, Payment, and Taxes

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.
  • Prices may exclude applicable taxes, duties, and shipping fees, which are calculated at checkout based on your location.
  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, logos, app design, AI prompts/outputs we generate, ebooks, printables, and logbook designs — is owned by or licensed to LifeBetic Global SARL and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

12. User-Generated Content

If you submit reviews, comments, images, or other content to us (e.g., product reviews, community submissions), you grant LifeBetic a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing and operational purposes.

13. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Services;
  • scrape, harvest, or misuse data from the Services;
  • use the AI Services to generate harmful, unlawful, or medically dangerous content.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • LifeBetic does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any health outcome will result from use of our products, apps, or content.
  • LifeBetic’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LifeBetic Global SARL, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence (including EU/UK consumer protection law, where applicable). Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting contact@lifebetic.com.

17. International Customers

We sell to customers worldwide. Depending on your location, certain mandatory local consumer rights (such as withdrawal periods under EU/UK law) may apply in addition to, and where more favorable than, these Terms.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date.
